Juventus will confirm the signing of Milos Krasic in the next few days after a summer filled with talks. In it rumoured the transfer will be around €15 million.
I’m sure as Juve fans start to get excited at the signing of the young Serbian the comparisons with club hero Pavel Nedvěd will all ready been ongoing this summer and not just because there is a physical resemblance but also the way he plays his football.
Krasic is a left sided winger who likes to dribble at the defence, drop a shoulder and use his pace. He has a good touch and can score goals. He has shown his ability at the highest level CSKA Moscow in the Champions League scoring 4 goals. At Juventus with the signing of Simone Pepe, who is a right winger, there is a good chance that Krasic is going to be deployed on the left side of midfield where the comparisons to Nedvěd will only grow.
But Krasic is used to being compared to Pavel Nedvěd as he said in an interview “Being compared to Neded always makes me proud. He was a phenomenon, a champion, and a great person.”
And he is used to the comparisons on their appearance having said “Maybe I look like him physically, but I am not at his levels yet,”
Juventus fans though will be hoping that Krasic can reach the levels of Nedvěd and help bring back trophies and bring back the glory of the days when Nedvěd was playing.
