Juventus vs. Chievo Verona
K.O: 22nd September 19.45 (UK)
Venue: Juventus Stadium

After a battling performance in the Champions League against Chelsea, the depth of Juve’s squad will be tested on Saturday night in the Juventus Stadium. The Chievo Verona match, will test the theory that a lack of European commitments gave La Vecchia Signora the upper hand in the Serie A title race this season.  There are not many teams in Italy that can boast a 1000 day unbeaten record against Juventus; in fact Chievo Verona are the only club with this record currently on their CV. With the likes of Pogba, Lucio, Isla etc. being drafted into the Juve ranks this weekend, Chievo will have an uphill task yes, but not an impossible one.   Juventus: Buffon, Lucio, Barzagli, Chiellini, Isla, Marchisio, Pogba, Giaccherini, Asamoah, Vucinic, Quagliarella   Chievo Verona: Sorrentino, Sardo, Dainelli, Cesar, Jokic, Vacek, L. Rigoni, Hetemaj, Cruzado; Thereau, Pellissier

Udinese vs. A.C Milan
K.O: 23rd September 14.00 (UK)
Venue: Stadio Friuli

Judging by current form, it seems hard to believe that A.C Milan and Udinese were calcio’s 2nd and 3rd best  teams during the 2011/12 season. Both squads will be depleted due to their European commitments during the mid-week, so the fact that they are playing one another could be beneficiary to each side. Although A.C Milan have a squad with much more depth than Udinese’s, their record in Udine has not been impressive of late; one win in their last four visits. This will be an extremely tight affair, which will likely end up a draw.   Udinese: Brkic, Benatia, Danilo, Domizzi, Basta, Pereyra, Pinzi, Willians, Armero, Barreto, Di Natale   A.C Milan: Abbiati, Abate, Mexes, Bonera, Antonini, Montolivo, De Jong, Nocerino, Boateng, El Shaarawy, Pazzini

Lazio vs. Genoa
K.O: 23rd September 19.45 (UK)
Venue: Stadio Olimpico

Two of week 3’s impressive performers, will meet in one of Serie A’s most anticipated fixtures. Genoa were beaten by Juventus last weekend, but the heart and attacking flamboyance shown will certainly have the Genoa faithful’s hope in the stratosphere this weekend. Despite being away from home and further down the table than Lazio, Genoa could be classified as favourites due to their opponents European commitments. The hopes of three points for Lazio, will be based on the red hot form of Hernanes; on his day there are few better in Europe.   Lazio: Marchetti, Scaloni, Biava, Andre Dias, Cavanda, Candreva, Gonzalez, Ledesma, Hernanes, Mauri, Klose    Genoa: Frey, Sampirisi, Canini, Bovo, Antonelli, Jankovic, Kucka, Seymour, Bertolacci, Borriello, Immobile
