FA Cup

The draw for the F.A Cup was made today which has made for some interesting ties to take place.

There are all Premiership games with WBA away to QPR, Southampton host last year’s winners Chelsea, West Ham are at home to Manchester United and Arsenal face Swansea. With Arsenal having just faced Swansea and losing to two late goals by the revelation at Liberty Park that is Michu, no doubt fans will be hoping that their team an exact some revenge on the Welsh club.

Championships sides Crystal Palace and Brighton face tough Premiership opponents as they host Stoke City and Newcastle United respectively. Last years runners’ up Liverpool have an away trip to either Lincoln or Mansfield.

Today also saw a unique rival match take place with MK Dons beating AFC Wimbledon to have the privilege to face Sheffield Wednesday in the next round. I was routing for AFC Wimbledon, but they lost out in the dying minutes thanks to ex Liverpool man Jon Otsemobor making it 2-1.

Bolton will face Sunderland, Tottenham host Coventry while Premiership champions Manchester City will host Gianfranco Zola’s Watford. Crawley Town face another tough opponent, they seems to gravitate towards Premiership clubs in the draws, as they face Premiership new boys Reading.

    • lets see what happens in January Transfer window…..I dont think Arsenal will do that much business, but they need reinforcements.

And AW cant play the kids against Swansea. As we have already seen, Swansea are dangerous. Especially Michu

Agree or disagree? Have your say!
